GLEITMO 165

GLEITMO 165 is a grey-blue solid lubricating paste. A special synthetic oil gives GLEITMO 165 excellent separating and lubricating properties over a very wide temperature range and a neutral behavior with respect to conventional screw materials. The carrier oil it contains has a low tendency to evaporate, i.e. GLEITMO 165 remains pasty until +180 °C. Above this temperature, the carrier oil gradually evaporates and leaves a dry lubricating film, which remains effective up to +1,200 °C.

Threaded connections, especially in high temperature areas such as thermal power stations, petrochemical industry, heating installations and exhaust systems of internal combustion engines. Lubrication during assembly (not applicable to rolling bearings). Simple lubrication points for bolts, sliders, cast ladles, slideways etc. at high temperatures.
